Scope and Purpose

The Standard for the National Control Survey Network (Reference Frame) comprises the specifications required for the maintenance and enhancement of the national control survey system and its status is mandatory. This document specifies, amongst others, the Datums, Coordinate Systems, Trigonometrical beacons, Benchmarks, Town survey mark schemes and TrigNet - base stations that constitute the National Control Survey Network.
